WOD @ 1600: back squat 3-3-3-3-3
--> I did OHS 3-3-3: 155-165-175x1. Man, these really suck. My shoulder pain doesn't help, but these did not feel good. I think I'm too used to the ass-out powerlift squat. That doesn't work in an OHS where the torso needs to be kept straight. Need to do a lot more of these to get the feel.
--> I then did back squat 3-3-3: 315-315-315. Again, getting used to ass-out powerlift squat is a challenge. Not sure which I prefer. I may squat less with the weightlifting squat, but I think the range of motion is better and carries over better. However, being able to lift heavy loads is also functional... For now, back squat powerlifting style, but the rest (front squat and OHS), try to stick with the narrower olympic lifting style.
