Back squat 5-5-5-5-5.
315x4, 305x5, 305x5, 305x5, 305x(3+2).
Final set, ripped shorts on first rep. Eeked out 2 more reps, but too distracted cuz shorts kept ripping. Had to split up the set. 70s big!
315 felt a little too heavy to go for 5 sets...
Today, I tried the powerlifting stance -- wide stance, ass not all the way down, but ass pushed back. Got the tip from 70sbig.com -- this allows the hamstrings to stay involved and relies more on hip drive. It'll take some getting used to, but I think will allow me to move more weight. I will try it for the CF total next week. Today, I made the mistake of having the bar too high (Olympic lifting style). For this style, all the videos show that the bar should be riding lower, distributed over the scapulae, and not on the apex of the traps.
