1. Warmup with Grace (full squat): 5min45s. Felt OK. Bounced bar too much, and still lack power in the thruster as yesterday. Felt good to do this in warmup with no time pressures. Just tried to keep zen-ish
2. Push jerk 1-1-1-1-1-1-1. Topped out at 255. 225-235-245-255-265(fail). Weight felt heavy today in the upper body. Possible effect of my warmup and the last few days. Matched my PR (when I was about 200lbs), so it's pretty good, though my goal was 265 today. Tried to find my breath and stay relaxed. Worked for the most part.
3. did 5 muscle-ups (the negatives hurt the shoulders -- maybe need more of a warmup)
4. did 4 rope climbs. poor foot holds today made it difficult, but the foot holds are key!

1. row 2000m. 7min32s. Tried Dan C's technique with butt back and long, consistent pulls and little movement of the chains. Stroke rate was way down, only 20 instead of usual 26. Good time for a nice and easy row. Very good. Keep trying the technique.
2. HSPUs 10-8-6. Good. Tried Mikey's breathing techniques.
3. pistols 5-5-5. Good. Tried to focus on core per discussion with Mikey.
