1. Elizabeth (warm-up). 8min22s. Oh man, this WOD is tough. The cleans are killers. I think this will help with the leg strength, though.
2. For time:
--> 15 deadlifts
--> 50 pullups
--> 12 deadlifts
--> 40 pullups
--> 9 deadlifts
--> 30 pullups
--> 6 deadlifts
--> 20 pullups
--> 3 deadlifts
--> 10 pullups.
Rx weight was 225lbs. I did the first 20 reps with 365lbs, then decreased to 315lbs for the rest. I decreased the weight because I didn't want to risk injury. Rep #20 felt like too much lower back strain, so I lightened up a bit. Haven't done deadlifts in a while, so this was good to get the feel back. I think my abs and lower back are still wrecked from the past few days, so it's OK. Pullups were fine until midway through the round of 30. First 2 rounds were done in sets of 10, and I think I did an extra 10 in round 2 when I lost count of my reps. Good butterflys. Last 2 rounds, I had to resort to regular kips in doubles and singles cuz biceps were wasted. Used a lot of biceps to protect shoulders from taking a beating at the bottom.
Total time 35min05s.
