Day #125 main site programming. AM weight 187.6lbs.

0730:
1. row 2000m. 7min31s. Playing around a bit with stroke length and stroke rate... short power strokes mixed with long smooth strokes seems to provide a pretty good change-up within the 2000m. Did not feel too tired after.
2. JT. 19min (wall clock). HSPUs were tough today. I felt rushed, and that really affected the pace of the reps. After 2 days off of HSPUs, I expected to fly, so first set I was very out of sync -- did not have the smooth power output that I've gotten used to over the past week. My feet came off the wall a lot, and I had to adjust and find balance. The rest of the WOD was a battle to stay calm and try to find a smooth groove. I never found it. Here is the importance of mind games. Gotta stay calm, relaxed and have a focus. I did not focus on core or breath today, which is a problem. I just wanted to bang out the reps. Dips and pushups were OK.

1. Fran (warmup). 4min20s. Felt pretty good, actually! I was careful not to work too hard. When I felt it starting to get hairy, I took a bit of a break (after 14th rep in 1st round pullups, after 10th rep in 2nd round thrusters and pullups, after 6th rep last round pullups). Quite pleased. Very nice. Butterflies broke down on last 3 reps only -- gotta keep it going!
2. Deadlifts 3-3-3-3-3. 405-415-415(2+1)-415(1)-405(2)-405(1+1+1). WOW, not good! Haven't done deadlifts in a long time, and these felt pretty heavy. Gotta practice! Felt bad pain in lats on some of these, so have to be careful!
