1. Isabel full-squat. 5min02s -- PR by 8s. NICE! Legs were pretty sore from yesterday, went out at nice and easy pace and still PR'd. The lift actually felt a lot better today -- the pull was higher, less bumping, felt more comfortable. Great to be doing this for warm-up. Will be moving on to Fran and Elizabeth next week, so will revisit this again in a week or so. Awesome.
2. FGB. 317. My worse score ever (PR is 359, previous worse 325), but I'm pretty happy with it. I paced myself, was not dead at the end. This is the first time I've done FGB and things moved slowly and comfortably. And my score was still decent. This is encouraging. I should consider doing some version of FGB as a warmup in the coming weeks... maybe score 20 on each round and do it non-stop with no clock and smooth transitions. Hmm... interesting!. Anyway, this is how it broke down:
--> Wall ball: 26/14/19 (bad bad! 2nd round, ball smacked me in the face and I lost all rhythm. My wall balls really suck right now. Need work -- perhaps in warmup:)
--> SDHP: 22/19/18 (used too much arms -- need more pop from the hips)
--> BoxJump: 20/20/21 (I did step-ups after first half of round 1! Ugh)
--> Push press: 30/30/30 (need to try to milk more out of this exercise by learning how to stay calmer, to make it easier)
--> Row: 18/14/16. Much time was lost in the transition. Coulda gone harder on these.
